Welcome to the page that tells it all... where do the Axon Servers Live! We believe in maintaining redundant systems, and that of course means we keep you online! Axon maintains Servers in four locations, three in the Silicon Valley, USA, and of course at our Corporate headquarters in Sydney Australia.
Axon maintains two primary server locations in the Silicon Valley, a full set of mail, web and ftp servers at each location. The first location is at Frontier - GlobalCenter's facility in Mountain View, CA. Here Axon servers sit in a super high bandwidth facility, alongside servers belonging to organisations such as Netscape, Yahoo, Link Exchange, Talk City and many more familiar names on the internet. Although the Internet wasn't designed to have such a place, if there was a "Center of the Internet", this would be it.
Down the road in Santa Clara we maintain a duplicate set of servers, located at The Virtual Training Company. By having a duplicate set of servers in a different location and on different networks we provide for the highest possible levels of redundancy... in the case of a disaster at least one set of servers will remain online.
Both server locations are supported by 24 hour access, redunadant power supply and on site power generation and a variety of other tools that are important to ensuring our servers are always online!
In addition to these two primary facilites, we have development and productions servers in both our Sydney Headquarters and our San Jose offices. From these locations we build and test the sites we publish, and in the case of Sydney we also provide a number of production servers.
